Weddings are a great affair here. There is an old tradition of turning community parks into marriage halls in our country. We eat Gol gappe, aloo tikki, papri chaat, gulab jamun jalebi and many more such amazing things in paper or foil donas (bowls) and we just throw them under the carpet.
Once the carpet is lifted and the marriage tent is removed, the BIN awaits the baratis (wedding guests) to put the trash where it belongs.

Today morning as I was making french pancakes, I thought of just putting all these together. 

The pre- 9 am light helped. 

Everybody clicks their food these days. So much so that people like me who want to do it professionally find it hard to get people interested. Even though I have been photographing the food I cook since the beginning of time, I took a few classes in composition & directing it into a beautiful picture while creating an emotion & a story around it. Contrary to popular belief, it is not that easy to shoot food. You have to keep it looking fresh & yummy all through the duration of the shoot & build the entire story around it. Here are some first attempts. It was a lot of fun doing this.
